Your donations make it possible for the DeWitt District Library to help strengthen and develop our collections, new technologies, programs and services that would not otherwise be possible with our current levels of funding.
Ways to Donate
All donations are tax deductible. To discuss donation opportunities, contact the library at 517-669-3156 and ask to speak with our Director or send us an email.
Gifts of Cash
A gift of cash can be made by writing a check or using a credit card. It provides the Library with an immediate benefit and offers you a tax deduction for the full value. The Library will send you a thank you letter for the donation for your tax records. Checks should be made out to the DeWitt District Library. You can also contribute today via our Square account.
Memorial/Honorary Gift Fund
A gift may be made to the DeWitt District Library to remember a special person or to celebrate a special occasion. A letter acknowledging your gift will be sent to the honoree or to the family of the person being honored. If you choose, you may also direct your gift in support of programming or to the purchase of Library materials. If unspecified, the donation will be used at the discretion of the Library Director.
