The library doesn’t stop at our front doors because stories and experiences happen everywhere.


DDL is actively looking for ways to bring stories, learning, and connection into the community. Explore upcoming off-site events, look back at past programs, and discover the many ways we meet you where you are.

Meet up with area walkers once a week to explore local parks and trails. Walks are about 2-3 miles on average.

Future walking locations will be posted here as they are scheduled. Our last walk of the 2026 season is November 24.

Additional Information

A Program & Fitness waiver is required to attend library fitness programs. Please return the completed form to the library prior to the program if you have not already done so for a previous event. You can pick up the form at the library or access a digital copy here.

Join DeWitt District Library staff for a more relaxed book club that meets on the last Tuesday* evening of every month, to enjoy the finer things... books and brews!

Join us in-person at the Looking Glass Brewing Company or online via Zoom. The in-person meeting will start at 6:30 pm and the Zoom meeting will start at 7 pm. Please register each month to save a seat!

Pop-Up Storytime - DeWitt Township Fire Station

We had a great Pop-Up Storytime at the new DeWitt Township Fire Station this past week!  Participants enjoyed stories and songs all about community helpers.

DeWitt PTA STEAM Event

The DeWitt Library had a great time at the annual PTA STEAM Event!  Kids explored our STEAM backpacks and got a hands-on look at the fun learning tools available to check out.  Stop by the library to discover one for yourself!
