Libby by Overdrive

An app for accessing the Woodlands Digital Library. Users can download the app on mobile devices or read and listen on a computer.

Libby by Overdrive is a free app that offers access to our library's collection of eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines. You can automatically stream titles on your mobile devices, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a library card.

Sign Up

• Install the Libby, by OverDrive app
• Follow the prompts to find your library to sign in with your library card.

Borrow

• Find the item you want and click on it
• Tap "Borrow"
• Select "Borrow"
• You can now access the item from the "Shelf" tab

Keep in Mind

• You can borrow up to 8 titles at a time from Woodlands Library Cooperative.
• If a title you want is already checked out, you can place a hold.

To add your card for a partner library using the app: 

• Go to MENU > Add Library
• Search for the partner library and open it.
• Tap Sign In With My Card.
• Under "Partner Libraries," choose Woodlands Library Cooperative from the list and sign in.
• Repeat for each library listed.
