Quick Facts

What?  Proposal for a .95 mill increase.  Proposal also renews current .5 mill when it expires in 2010.

Why?  To build and operate a new district library   for the next 20 years

When? August 5, 2008

Where Would the New District Library be? If approved, a new library on DeWitt Road would open in fall 2010 on land donated to the library.  Click for map.

Who Can Vote? Residents of the City of DeWitt, DeWitt Township, and the portions of Watertown Township in the DeWitt, St. Johns and Lansing school districts.  Click for your voting location
