The Woodruff Annex

The DeWitt District Library's (DDL) Woodruff Annex provides an opportunity for bringing together resources of the library and the activities of the community for educational, cultural, civic and charitable purposes. This space is not available for purely social occasions.

ABOUT THE WOODRUFF ANNEX

  • This meeting room is available to any individual, group or organization with an active DDL card that is in good standing.
  • The Annex may be reserved for 2 hour blocks of time with up to 12 meetings per year.
  • The room is available only during the Library's hours of operation and must be vacated 15 minutes before the Library closes.
  • The room offers four 6 ft tables and 28 chairs however more people may comfortably occupy thespace. The room set-up will determine the maximum number of occupants.
  • Reservations must be made by an adult 18 years or older and individuals younger than 18 must have an adult in the Annex Room at all times during use.
  • Library staff and library programs have first priority usage of this meeting room.

WOODRUFF ANNEX RESERVATION INFORMATION

  • DDL accepts applications for the Annex a minimum of 7 days in advance of use but not more than two months prior to the scheduled use.
  • Applications are approved on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Annex room users must agree to follow the library’s Patron Behavior Policy while using the space and will be held financially responsible for any damage to the room or its furnishings.

RESERVING THE ROOM

Reservations may be made up to one-week in advance by contacting the library, either in person or by phone. :

  1. Reservations must be made by DDL cardholders only
  2. Reservations are limited to 2 hour sessions up to 15 sessions per year
  3. 48 hour cancellation notice is required

The Annex meeting space is approximately 750 sq feet and can accommodate up to 50 adults depending on the room set-up.
Our meeting space includes use of a LCD projector and screen, a sound system, and 6' folding tables with folding chairs.
